Software Architect & Product Engineering Leader
Plano, TX (Hybrid/Onsite 4 days per week)
We are seeking a world‑class engineering leader to help shape the next generation of modern, cloud‑native banking platforms. This role blends software architecture, product strategy, and service delivery leadership — ideal for someone who can think holistically about systems, teams, and customer outcomes.
Your role will be to architect, design, and deliver mission‑critical enterprise applications that streamline operations, strengthen reliability, and elevate the customer experience across the bank. You will partner closely with product, engineering, security, and business stakeholders to define the “why,” shape the “what,” and lead the “how.”
What You’ll Do
- Architect scalable, cloud‑native solutions that power core banking capabilities and enterprise digital experiences
- Translate business goals into clear technical direction, roadmaps, and actionable engineering plans
- Lead cross‑functional teams through the full product lifecycle — from discovery and design to delivery and ongoing service ownership
- Champion modern SDLC practices including design‑first development, shift‑left quality, and continuous delivery
- Drive engineering excellence through thoughtful technical leadership, mentoring, and hands‑on contributions
- Collaborate with product and business leaders to define requirements, prioritize features, and ensure measurable business impact
- Oversee service reliability, operational readiness, and long‑term maintainability of critical systems
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and high‑trust collaboration across engineering teams

- Experience modernizing SDLC processes and accelerating feature adoption — similar to:

- 10+ years in software engineering with deep experience in architecture, product engineering, or platform leadership
- Expertise in cloud‑native design, microservices, event‑driven systems, and API‑first architectures
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing strategies
- Experience in financial services or other highly regulated, mission‑critical environments
